APF Athabasca (AFG1), also known as Alberta Pacific Forest Athabasca, is located in Athabasca County, north of Spruce Valley, Alberta. It uses waste products from Alberta Pacific Forest Industries Inc.'s mill to generate electricity. It consists of steam turbine generators, one gas turbine generator, and one condensing steam turbine with a maximum capability of 131 MW.
