Brooks Solar (BSC1) is a solar panel installation with a capability of 15 MW, located on a 30 hectare site in Newell County (near Brooks, Alberta). It was the first utility-scale solar project in western Canada. After 7 months of construction it was connected to the grid on December 5, 2017. It is owned and operated by Brooks Solar Corporation, a subsidiary of Elemental Energy.
Elemental Energy also owns Innisfail (INF1).
