Duchess Solar (DUS1) is a 20 MW solar farm located approximately 4 KM southwest of the Village of Duchess. It is comprised of approximately 49,700 bifacial PV modules. It uses a single-axis tracking system which allows the solar panels to rotate and follow the sun's path from east to west. Cold Lake First Nations has majority ownership of this asset.
