Fort Nelson (FNG1) is a generating station located in Fort Nelson, British Columbia. This site supplies local power for BC Hydro domestic users, but it also exports power to the northern Alberta grid. Powerex (a wholly-owned subsidiary of BC Hydro) handles power trading under a transfer pricing agreement. It includes a GE LM6000 gas turbine with a maximum capability of 73 MW.
