Gleichen Solar (GLE1) is a 13 MW solar asset located about 5 KM north of Gleichen, AB on Siksika Nation's traditional territory. It is comprised of approximately 32,000 solar panels on 40 hectares of land, with 43 inverters, and 5 medium voltage transformer stations. This asset was constructed by TIU-Canada, and the Ermineskin Cree Nation holds a 51% ownership stake.
