Grande Prairie EcoPower (GPEC) is located in Grande Prairie, Alberta and owned by Canadian Forest Products Ltd. (Canfor). It includes one biomass-fired boiler and steam-turbine generator, with a maximum capability of 18 MW. The asset generates electricity using biomass (waste products from the Canfor pulp mill).
