Rainbow Lake #1 (RL1) is located southeast of Rainbow Lake, Alberta; it is owned and operated by Heartland Generation. This cogeneration asset includes two LM6000 gas turbines and one heat recovery steam generator (HRSG). Steam produced by the asset is used in Husky's nearby gas plant.
Rainbow Lake #1 (RL1) and Rainbow #5 (RB5) are separate assets located at the same facility.
