Slave Lake (SLP1) is a biomass plant that burns methane (biogas) reclaimed from pulp mill waste water. This asset is owned by West Fraser Mills Ltd. and is located east of Slave Lake. Three GE Jenbacher J620 engines have a combined maximum capability of 9 MW.
