Bear Creek 2 (BCR2) is a 36 MW steam turbine powered by wood waste and steam from waste heat from BCRK. Some medium- and low-pressure steam is returned to Weyerhaeuser and used by the pulping process. It is owned and operated by TransCanada Energy and situated on Weyerhaeuser's Grande Prairie Pulp and Sawmill Complex, south of Grande Prairie, Alberta.
