Bear Creek 1 (BCRK) is a 64 MW natural gas-fired Rolls Royce Trent turbine whose waste heat is sent to a heat recovery steam generator, BCR2. It is owned and operated by TransCanada Energy and situated on Weyerhaeuser's Grande Prairie Pulp and Sawmill Complex, south of Grande Prairie, Alberta.
