Cypress 2 (CYP2) is a 46 MW wind generator located approximately 20 KM southest of of Dumore, and is a partnership between EDF Renewables Canada Inc. and Kainai Nation (Blood Tribe).
The Cypress Wind Power Project (CYP1 & CYP2) was one of the projects that obtained a Renewable Electricity Program (REP) Round 2 contract with th AESO in December 2018. In total, they are comprised of 48 Siemens-Gamesa SG145 wind turbines.
