Northern Prairie Power Project (NPP1) is located in the county of Grande Prairie, northeast of Beaverlodge, Alberta. The Northern Prairie Power Plant includes one General Electric Model MS7001/EA (Frame 7EA) natural gas-fired turbine generator with a maximum capability of 105. This asset is owned and operated by Grande Prairie Generation Inc.
