Kearl (IOR3) is a cogeneration asset that generates steam and electricity for oilsands processing. It has a maximum capability of 84 MW and was added as an AESO asset in 2015. Imperial Oil owns and operates this asset, which is located northeast of Fort Mackay, Alberta.
