NPC1 Denis St. Pierre (NPC1) is located southwest of Grande Prairie near the hamlet of Elmworth, Alberta. This natural gas plant is comprised of four 3 MW Cooper Bessemer LSV16 Reciprocating Engines for a maximum capability of 11 MW. It is owned by Northstone Power Corp.
NPC1 and NPC2 are separate AESO assets located at the same facility (Elmworth Generation Station).
